i walk from his dorm room
to the college library
feeling like super mario
i know my route and
inevitably try to turn
into a red brick wall
yesterday, staring
at the water-stained mirror
i pulled out
three white hairs
from the root
i dodge
mid-april snow and
walk
familiar landmarks
yet
i feel displaced
the ravens
are
following
me
going through
motions
staring at
screens
eating too-spicy
thai food
with braggs
and red curry
and trying
to plan
my next
destination
